Wordless Wednesday: Mother's Day

Getting over the hump by linking up with Christina over at Sugar and Spice for Wordless Wednesday!

What special keepsake are your kiddos making for Mother's Day? This week we are making fingerprint pictures frames inspired by HGTV!

    1. Thank you, Jen! I can't believe the rose on your post is from coffee filters! It looks very real and natural! I am looking forward to seeing the finished product!

  2. My kinders are making cards. On the outside of the card is a flower, and you lift up each petal on the flower and they wrote what their mom is (pretty, funny, my friend, a good cook, etc.). On the inside of the card they wrote "Happy Mother's Day" and I have a picture in there I printed. On the picture, they are on a background that says "I love you because" and they held up a sign as to why they loved their mother.

They turned out awesome. And yours look awesome as well!

  3. Those are so stinking cute! I may have to borrow that idea next year! I really love them!

We made fingerprint flower pots. Students traced their hands and then used fingerprints to make flowers around each finger. The pot was a persuasive story about why their mom was the best! I was happy with how they turned out (especially since I had a sub do the art piece and it wasn't exactly what I had in mind) :)
